Catra and Adora were meant to rule the world... metaphorically speaking. Same law school to get out of the sticks, same firm to qualify in to, same focus on getting up the ladder to Partner.

But Adora lost the dream and did the unthinkable. Now she's working for a small firm going up against a big hitter over a new development. And who is across the table?

Her former best friend.

How will things go as the once-friends find themselves on opposite sides of the courtroom? And what will winning feel like?

It's after the Fall of Prime. The parties have stopped (mostly), Catra and Adora are in love, and things are going smoothly. Mostly smoothly. Mostly. There's the matter of what happens now. There's a whole bunch of clones hanging around, there's the matter of Hordak's Horde soldiers, not to mention Hordak himself, and there's a population of Etheria who want to do something about all of this. Then of course there's Catra or as she's known to the rest of Etheria, Force Captain Catra, commander of the Horde legions, invader of Salineas, and Adora's girlfriend. Catra is fully aware of that dichotomy and is wondering just what that is going to mean to her future. Not to mention she thinks maybe she shouldn't get off scott free for what she's done. So does that mean she suffers more, like she still thinks she just might deserve, or does that mean that forgiveness and grace is the better way to go?

“no offence, but you seem like more of a military kid than anything. what made you want to be a huntress?” adora laughs. “none taken. i get that a lot.” “yeah, i bet,” catra says, prodding her shoulder. “why do you stand like that, loser? you’ll destroy your back before you’re twenty if you keep doing that.” “believe me, i’m counting on it,” adora says, sidestepping her hand. “to answer your question, i mean — i just really wanted to be like my aunt.” it prompts a short, sharp laugh from her. “that’s kind of sweet, actually. way nicer than what i was expecting. who’s your aunt?” “what were you expecting?” adora counters. “‘i wanted to serve my kingdom’”, catra parrots, “‘and hit things with my sword, too. mostly the second part.’” “hey!” adora says defensively, because it’s a damn good impression. “that’s — mostly wrong.”

SPOP 4th Anniversary Big Bang

May 15th, 2024 will mark the four year anniversary of the finale of Dreamworks' She-Ra and the Princesses of Power on Netflix. To celebrate, we're planning a Big Bang event to ensure there's plenty of new content to celebrate the anniversary!

Want to show your love for SPOP? Always wanted to participate in a big fandom event? Well, come on over and join us!

What is this event?

Participating writers will each prepare a SPOP fanfic of at least 5,000 words.

Once the writers have handed in their drafts, participating artists can choose which fanfic they'd like to illustrate.

Artists and writers work together to share both fic and art during the week of the Season 5 anniversary from May 12th to 18th, 2024.

Organizers will promote all fanworks in the bang collection and on social media so that readers have plenty of fresh content to celebrate the anniversary with!

How do I join? (Sign-ups are currently closed!)

Writers and artists interested in participating can sign up through the form here.

Once you sign up, you'll receive an invitation to join the SPOP Creative Flex Discord, which is hosting this event.

Writers and artists of any skill level are welcome to participate, though users must be at least 13 to join the event server and over 18 to work with mature content.

Want to do something out of the ordinary like a comic (3 page minimum) or do your own art instead of being partnered with a random artist? You're welcome too!

Captain Catra… the name meant a lot of different things to a lot of different people.

To First Mate Scorpia, Catra was her best friend who had escaped from the Fright Zone with her, giving her a new life and a much greater purpose than anything the horrid witch and ex-lord of the Horde had promised.

For Pilot Entrapta, Catra was a shield against a world that had never really understood her nor tolerated her. She was also the only person to ever successfully steal some of the most advanced technology in all Etheria, a Horde ship, and she was content to let Entrapta play with all of it.

For the princesses and their kingdoms, the feline was a dangerous bandit and a terrible nuisance.

However, for Adora, Princess of Brightmoon, the name of Captain Catra bore no importance at all...
